Sean Johnston is an accomplished Creative Director with a strong presence in New York and New Jersey. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years, Sean has excelled in a diverse range of industries, including retail, sports, food, home, science, fashion, outdoor, photography, tech, health, and celebrity. As a big-picture creative, Sean is skilled in crafting unifying concepts and elevating multi-platform visuals. He is a capable leader who oversees designers, art directors, and freelance crew members. With a background as both a full-time in-house creative and a creative director and on-set art director, Sean has honed his creative direction skills and works in collaboration with marketing departments to drive business results forward. Sean's creative vision has shaped and defined several successful brands, and he has built creative departments from scratch, outlining processes and best practices, managing budgets, and leading teams. As a mentor for young creatives, Sean is supportive, inspiring, and motivating. His experience, skills, and collaborative work style have connected him with some of the most respected people in the industry, as well as the freshest talent.
Sean was educated at the London College of Printing.
Sean currently lives in New Jersey, with his wife and two children.
